Chelsea

This was our largest project at the time, featuring a huge pond, two large cascades, and a unique stone hot tub. We travelled to Donegal, Ireland, to select every rock for this project, bringing over 100 tonnes of stone to Chelsea by truck.

Upon arrival, we used a 20-ton digger with a selector grab attachment to place the rocks efficiently.

We thoroughly enjoyed working with these rocks due to their beautiful textures and natural shapes. We chiseled the rocks to fit together seamlessly, creating a cohesive natural rock face, reminiscent of their original state in the quarry.

The most challenging and time-consuming aspect was constructing the stone hot tub. We had to ensure the rocks fit precisely around the concrete form and function correctly with the water jets.

Despite the difficulties, the end result was stunning and highly rewarding!
